Exciting News: MDT Community Approves RewardMe Cashback Upgrade
We are thrilled to announce that the MDT community has overwhelmingly approved the proposal to replace the ME token with Measurable Data Token (MDT) as the new native crypto cashback option in the RewardMe app, with more than 96% of votes in favor, representing 212 votes. This decision marks a significant step forward in upgrading RewardMe’s reward system and expanding the utility of MDT within our ecosystem.
Implementation Plan starting from late June
- Retirement of ME Tokens: ME tokens will be retired, and all existing ME tokens will be converted to Reward Dollars (RD) at a 1:1 ratio.
- Introduction of MDT as Cashback: All RewardMe users will have the option to select Measurable Data Token (MDT) as their preferred crypto shopping reward type.
- New Staking Opportunities: A new MDT staking program will be introduced, allowing users to upgrade their membership tiers and receive staking rewards in MDT.
- RD to MDT Conversion: A one-way RD-to-MDT converter will be available, enabling users to convert Reward Dollars into MDT, with each conversion occurring in multiples of 1,000 RD.
